 | 4個で一つの生活単位Algae connected like a raft Japanese commentary is followed by English commentary イカダモと呼ばれる藻類の仲間で、ここでは4つの細胞が横に連なって群体をつくっている。普段は浮遊生活をするがここでは粒子に引っ掛かり動かない。 ----- 月井雄二先生(法政大)のコメント ----- これは成熟した イカダモ（Scenedesmus quadricauda）ですね。 protist.i.hosei.ac.jp 以前，Eberhard Hegewald という名の英国のイカダモの分類の専門家とメールのやりとりをしたことがあるのですが，後日，彼が書いたイカダモの分類の本（586頁）を購入したところそこには無数のイカダモとその近縁種が記載されていました。それを見ると，これが本当に S. quadricaudaなのかとやや不安になってしまうのですが，一般的にはS. quadricaudaで問題ないはずです。 Four individual algal cells are connected, forming a colony shaped like a raft, which allows it to float freely in water. This colony is standing still by the side of a particle. ----- Commentary by Prof. Yuji Tsukii, Hosei University ----- This organism is a mature Scenedesmus quadricauda. protist.i.hosei.ac.jp Once I happened to exchange e-mail with Dr. Eberhard Hegewald, a specialist in Scenedesmus classification living in England. Subsequently I bought his text book and found pictures of various kinds of Scenedesmus and their related species.  | 珪藻や緑藻たちの静かな世界A still-life view of algae and diatoms Japanese commentary is followed by English commentary 画面では各種の珪藻や、緑藻たちが見られますが、どれも殆ど動きがない静かな世界です。 ----- 月井雄二先生(法政大)のコメント ----- 珪藻は，ハリケイソウ，あるいは，ヌサガタケイソウ（ないし，オビケイソウ）のいずれかですが， タイトルにある「緑藻」は訂正した方が良いです。 ハリケイソウ（Synedra） protist.i.hosei.ac.jp ヌサガタケイソウ（Tabellaria） protist.i.hosei.ac.jp オビケイソウ（Fragilaria） protist.i.hosei.ac.jp 画面の中央に２つある緑色の細長いものは，緑藻ではなく藍藻類のユレモ（Oscillatoria）です。 protist.i.hosei.ac.jp ハリケイソウとユレモの間に，小さなイカダモが１個だけありますが， 他は右上にある小さな珪藻類（小さすぎて同定は困難）だけです。 一番，目立つのは左のハリケイソウ？とユレモです。 This is a tranquil scene featuring various kinds of diatoms and green algae, none of which is moving. ----- Commentary by Prof. Yuji Tsukii, Hosei University ----- The organism in this video is not green algae but a diatom.
