iTunes Store ⇒ itunes.apple.com Amazon ⇒ amzn.to スタジオジブリ映画『借りぐらしのアリエッティ』主題歌、「Arrietty's Song」のミュージックビデオ。 フランス北西部のブルターニュ地方、フィニステール(Finiste're)生まれ。歌手でありハープ奏者。思春期にケルト音楽に傾倒し、地元のコンセルヴァトワール(音楽学校)でハープを習い、その後ハープを弾きながら歌い始める。クラシック的な要素を持ち合わせたベーシスト、ギタリスト、チェリストたちと共に、フランスや世界各地で演奏をしており、多くの人々を魅了している。昨年、スタジオジブリ鈴木プロデューサーのもとに送った1枚のCDがきっかけとなり、今夏公開のスタジオジブリの劇場最新作映画「借りぐらしのアリエッティ」の音楽制作に携わることになる。言語に興味をもち、フランス語だけでなく、英語、ドイツ語、ブルトン語、ゲール語、スペイン語でも歌い、今回は日本語で主題歌に初挑戦。

四国の高松や大阪を拠点として活躍するシャンソン歌手・別府葉子が２０１０年５月、故郷高松のサンポートで行ったコンサートから。"The water is wide"という英語の題名で有名なケルトの名曲です。これを2004年トリ･アンがフランス語とブルトン語で歌った"Divent an dour"に別府葉子が一部日本語の訳詩を付して歌っています。
