	Kawaramach-dori & Pontocho (京都の河原町と先斗町)  Kansai PJ's FLV # 145 -PJ filming a recent visit to Kyoto. I start this video footage walking down kawaramachi-dori and then back on the narrow pontocho alley. The footage is about a year old, from an older camera. I added one of my favorite songs in the background to help give the vid the right mood - 夢のないワンダーランド (Dreamless Wonderland). Here is more info: Kawaramachi (河原町) is a very touristy, part of central Kyoto. There are many nice restaurants, bars, and other entertainment venues there. Kawaramachi Street runs parallel to the Kamo River on the eastern side of Kyoto whereas Shijō Street runs east-west through the center of the city. Pontochō (先斗町) centers around a narrow, cobbled alley running from Shijo-dōri to Sanjo-dōri, one block west of the Kamogawa.
