	Taga Taisha Setsubun Festival 多賀大社節分祭  Feb. 3 is the Setsubun Festival at many temples and shrines in Japan. It marks the beginning of spring according to the lunar calendar. So they throw beans at demons to eliminate the evil of the previous year and bring in good fortune. 	2011年多賀大社秋の古例祭・古知古知相撲  ２０１１年９月９日（金）撮影。滋賀県多賀町にある多賀大社で毎年この日に行われている秋の古例祭、その見せ場の一つ「古知古知相撲」を去年に続いて見に行ってきました。今年は、肉食系（多賀の里）ＶＳ草食系（寿命が石）といった感じでしょうか・・・。ちなみに、対戦した二人は地元の氏子さんで、この後行われた行列にも参加していました・・・。また後ろで観ていた着ぐるみのゆるキャラは地元のマスコット「たがゆいちゃん」だそうです。 2011年09月10日再生回数 905
	多賀大社Taga Taisha （平成23年5月14日）  神代の昔、伊邪那岐大神は本社東方の杉坂山に降臨され、麓の栗栖の宮にしばらくお休みの後、多賀の地にお鎮まりになったのが始まりと伝えられています。莚命長寿の神として皇室から武門・庶民に至るまで伊勢・熊野と並んで広く信仰を集め、「お伊勢参らばお多賀へ参れお伊勢お多賀の子でござる」と歌われ栄えました。また、境内の左手の摂社・日向神社は延喜式内小社で瓊瓊杵尊を祀っています。 In the age of the myth, Izanaginomikoto descend to Sugisakayama in the east of this place. 	Taga Taisha Rice-Planting Festival 多賀大社御田植祭  Held annually on the first Sunday in June, the Taga Taisha O-taue Matsuri rice-planting festival in Taga, Shiga Prefecture, Japan has 70 local junior high school girls planting rice in the shrine's sacred rice paddy. There's also a stage for ceremonial performances and rituals. A ceremony starts at 1 pm at the shrine, then the rice planting starts at the nearby sacred rice paddy at 2 pm.
