And as for my Romaji notation, I refer to 東京大学 教養学部 推奨 ローマ字の表記法park.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp ☆I think their way is better, especially to use 長音記号(circumflex) to avoid reader confusion. What would your readers understand this Romaji "aoiie" if you are one who doesn't use circumflexs in sentences? They would be able to read both あおいいえ(青い家: a blue house) and あおいーえ(a nonsensical word).
