 | Nurburgring 24h Race Interviews (English)
The 24-hour endurance race at Nurburging hosted two Nissan GT-R teams last weekend, the No.23 Nissan GT-R Club Track Edition driven by Michael Krumm, Toshio Suzuki, Kazuki Hoshino and Tetsuya Tanaka, which finished 99th overall and second in class, and the No. 123 Nissan GT-R Club Track Edition, driven by GT Academy winner Lucas Ordonez, Kazunori Yamauchi, Yasukichi Yamamoto and Tobias Schulze, who finished 30th overall and first in the SP8T class.

日産自動車の電気自動車（ＥＶ）「リーフ」をベースにしたレース専用モデル「ＮＩＳＳＡＮ ＬＥＡＦ ＮＩＳＭＯ ＲＣ」の走行テストが６日、千葉県袖ケ浦市の「袖ケ浦フォレストレースウェイ」で報道陣に公開された。 リーフのモーターやバッテリーなどをそのまま使用しながら、搭載位置を変更して車両の運動性能をアップ。ボディーをカーボン製にすることで、重量も約６００キロ軽量化した。 最高速は時速１５０キロ、レース走行時の航続時間は約２０分。動力系がモーターのため、エンジン搭載の通常のレーシングカーに比べ、走行音は格段に静かだ。金属音と風切り音を残し、１周約２．４キロのコースを１分１７秒台で駆け抜けた。 ニッサン・モータースポーツ・インターナショナル（ＮＩＳＭＯ）の車両開発責任者、鈴木豊さんは「音が静かで、今までと全く違う形のモータースポーツが楽しめる」と語った。 フランスで開催されるルマン２４時間耐久レースでは、現地時間の９日夜と１１日午後、スタート前にもう１台の同型車がデモンストレーション走行する予定だ
