 | 净空法师谈放生001 净空法师谈放生001 历代祖师大德放生开示智者大师智者大师相传为释迦牟尼佛乘愿再来，随陈时代，大师见临海渔民捕鱼杀生，大起慈悲，以衬施买临海渔沪一所作放生池，兼为渔民讲经说法，渔民闻法后率皆改行转业，好生从善，并献临海江沪溪梁六十三所，达三四百余里，全部作为放生池，是我国有史以来最早的大规模放生，所救活的物命数以亿万计，现在的西湖，就是大师当年所创的古放生池。 永明大师永明大师相传为阿弥陀佛慈悲示现，五代时大师为余杭县库吏，常常因救急以库钱买鱼虾等物命放生，后因监守自盗罪被判死刑，行刑前大师态度从容，面不改色，国王很奇怪便询问他缘由，大师回答：'我因为放生，救活的生命数以千万，趁此功德，正好往生西方极乐世界，怎能不欢喜呢？'国王敬重大师德行，便释放了他，大师自此出家为僧，念佛修行，得道证果，后世遵为莲宗六祖。 慧能大师禅宗六祖慧能大师，自得五祖弘忍大师黄梅心印后，为躲避同门兄弟的迫害，逃亡江南，隐姓埋名，乔装平民，隐居于猎户群中。猎人交待大师守网，大师慈悲为怀，见被擒被抓的狼獐鹿兔等等猎物，莫不设法为之放生，这样放生放了十六年，救活的物命不可胜数，并且感动了猎户，放下屠刀，改行向善。后大师坐曹溪道场，大兴禅宗，道播神州！ 寒山／拾得大师寒山问拾得：放生可成佛否？答曰：诸佛无心，惟以爱物为心。人能救物之苦，即能成就诸佛心愿矣。故一念慈悲，救一物命，是一念观世音也。日日放生则慈悲日日增长，久久不息则念念流入观世音大慈悲海矣。我心即是佛心，焉得不成佛乎！故知放生因缘，非小善之所能比。凡我同愿，宜广行劝勉，善令群生同归悲化。 （寒山大师相传为文殊菩萨示现，拾得大师相传为普贤菩萨示现。） 志公禅师梁武帝问志公禅师：'放生功德如何？' 答曰：'放生功德，不可限量。经云：蠢动含灵，皆有佛性，只因迷妄 ... 2008年06月07日再生回数 26671 |
