下水道等の整備が十分でない田舎などで見かける、簡易水洗式トイレです。 排泄物は自動的に落下し、便槽に溜まる仕組みで事実上、汲み取り式トイレと同じ構造です。 通常のトイレとは違い、少量の水（約500ｍℓ）で洗い流せる為、大変エコかと思います。 通常はピストル式（銃）のようなホースで洗い流しますが、動画はプッシュ式の方で洗い流した状態です。 こいつには便槽との間を密閉できる蓋がついてますが、ややバネが弱って半開きになってます（汗） 最近は温水洗浄便座付きも存在するようで・・・
