	東経００度、西経００度の子午線で。  1012-02-25、東経００度、西経００度の子午線。 グリニッジ天文台へ入るのは有料です。切符売り場で申出でたら、シニア割引OKでした。庭には、イルカの形をした日時計があり、その構造がなかなか面白いと思いました。建物の中には、時計、六分儀や望遠鏡等、大英帝国を築いた科学機器が展示されていました。もう一度来てみる価値があると思ったほどでした。戸外には、００度の子午線を示す標識と金属製のラインが設置されていて、多くの観光客が列をなしていました。みなさん順番に、自分のカメラを次の人に渡して、記念撮影していました。或る若いカップルは子午線の東と西に立って、お互いの唇が丁度子午線上にくるようにして接吻していました。私は、子午線を歩いてまたたぐ格好をしました。一瞬よろけたので、みんな大笑いでした。場は結構和やかな雰囲気でした。日も大分傾いてきたので、帰ることにしました。うろ覚えの地図が頭の中にあり、それなりに歩いていくと鉄道の駅に到着。トイレの設備はありますが、工事中のようで、駅員は、駅前のパブを紹介してくれました。お客さんたちは、ラグビーのTV観戦に夢中でした。 いくつもの駅を経由し、終局的にはPaddingtonまで行って、そこからReadiingへ戻りました。 なお、撮影画像の最後部分が突然切れます。乞うご容赦。 2012年04月09日再生回数 27
	発見！伊52潜水艦 ドイツ派遣潜水艦の最終艦  伊号第五二潜水艦は、日本海軍の潜水艦。伊五二型潜水艦（丙型改潜水艦）の1番艦。艦名としては二代目。ドイツ派遣潜水艦の最終艦（5艦目）。 1944年（昭和19年）3月10日に第8潜水隊に編入、同日呉を出港する。 伊52の派遣の目的は伊30号により持ち帰ったドイツ製工業製品の製造技術の取得のために派遣された。当艦に便乗していたのは主に民間の技術者である。ドイツへの技術供与の対価として2トンの金塊、および当時のドイツで不足していたスズ・モリブデン・タングステンなど計228トンが積載されていた。 アメリカ軍は訪独潜水艦作戦に特別な関心を示し日本とドイツ間で交わされる無線を傍受、その動きを追い続けていた。 イ52は無線交信では「モミ」と呼ばれていた。 21日にシンガポールに到着。ここで大量の物資を積み込み23日にドイツ派遣潜水艦の5艦目としてシンガポールを出港。 5月20日に喜望峰を越えて大西洋に進出した。この頃、ドイツ側の提案で危険海域に突入したイ52の位置をかく乱させる為ニセの情報の無電が発進されたがアメリカ軍はこの無線も傍受解読し計略の全てをつかんでいた。 6月1日頃、イ52は赤道付近を北上、6月4日に北半球に出た。 6月8日、ドイツベルリンよりレーダー逆探知装置受け渡しの為6月21日午後9時15分に北緯15度、西経40度の海域でドイツ潜水艦と会合せよとの無線命令が入る、これが運命の分かれ道となった。アメリカはこの情報を傍受し攻撃部隊を現場に派遣する。護衛空母ボーグはスペインの海域より一気に南下、2隻の潜水艦が現れる海域に急行する。 6月22日、イ52は合流地点に到着、ドイツ潜水艦U530と合流に成功したのは23日午後8時20分であった。この時ドイツ潜水艦より連絡将校が乗艦。 同日午後11時20分に護衛空母ボーグを飛び立ったアベンジャー雷撃機より最初の ... 2011年09月05日再生回数 53906

	Operation Musashi - Radio Assistance Offer Call - シーシェパード  The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ship Steve Irwin has joined the search for missing Japanese seaman Hajime Shiraskai 30. Shirasaki fell off the Kyoshin Maru No. 2 and is believed lost at sea. The Steve Irwin is presently with the Japanese whaling fleet at the position of 62 Degrees 17 Minutes South and 144 Degrees 50 Minutes West. This is 1800 miles Southeast of Dunedin, New Zealand and 2600 miles Southeast of Hobart, Australia. Captain Paul Watson informed the fleet that the Sea Shepherd crew had no intention of harassing the whaling vessels while they are engaged in a search for the missing crewman's body. Captain Watson offered the Steve Irwin, two boat crews and a helicopter to assist in the search. The Yushin Maru No 3 responded and declined Sea Shepherd's offer of assistance saying that they would not accept help from an "eco-terrorist organization." Captain Watson answered that the Sea Shepherd crew would assist in the search nonetheless and would not interfere with the whalers while engaged in the search mission. 	Great Hole stand by Marius on the Moon マリノス付近の縦穴Kaguya-TC  JAXAの解説引用この動画は、今回発見された縦穴を含む領域の地形カメラ立体視撮像によって得られたデータから作成しています。データ領域は、北緯12.9°～14.4°、西経55.7°～57°、（東西35km、南北45km）です。 動画では、全景を南西上空から見たところから始まります。動画領域には、溶岩が流れた痕である川のような「リル」が二つ（動画での左側が南のリルA、右側が北のリルBです）が見え、また、いずれのリルの先端（動画最初では手前側）にも、溶岩が流れ出した後陥没したとみられる「ひしゃげた」クレータが見られます。縦穴は南側のリルの下流に存在しています。 動画では、開始後ほぼまっすぐに、今回発見された縦穴へと向かいます。そして、縦穴を確認し、近づき上空を旋回した後、南側のリルを見つつ縦穴から一旦遠ざかります。そして、このリルの先端にあるクレータを迂回し、北側のリルを見た後、動画領域北側に存在する「マリウス丘」に至ります。ここは、ドームとよばれる火山性の地形が多数存在しているところです。それらを眺めつつ、再度、北側から縦穴に向い、縦穴を確認して動画が終了します。 wms.selene.jaxa.jp 2009年11月07日再生回数 525

	2009-02-02 Sea Shepherd Relocates the Japanese Whaling Fleet  After almost a week of battling dense fog and heavy winds and swells the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ship Steve Irwin has once more found the Japanese whaling fleet. The fleet was located at 0930 Hours at the position of 67 Degrees 18 Minutes South and 163 Degrees 52 Minutes West. "We are 7 miles from the fleet and approaching. We see the Nisshin Maru and two harpoon vessels the Yushin Maru #1 and the Yushin Maru #2," said Captain Paul Watson. "They appear to be whaling and are not moving. If we don't catch up with them before they begin to move, we are close enough now that we will not lose the Nisshin Maru." There is a lot of loose ice and moderate patches of fog. The winds are at forty knots which means the helicopter cannot be deployed. The Steve Irwin is now in close pursuit of the Japanese whaling fleet. A crewmember from the Steve Irwin was slightly injured after being struck by a high pressure water cannon fired from the Japanese whaling factory ship Nisshin Maru. One of the cameramen on one of the Steve Irwin's inflatable boats was cut and bruised above the eye when a high pressure blast of water knocked him off his feet while he was filming. A second crew member was also injured in the confrontation with the whalers. Laurens De Groot of the Netherlands was slightly injured when struck in the face by a metal ball thrown by whalers.
