 | 市民公開講座 「再生医療と病理」 2008年8月国際湘南村にて。 平成21年は，再生元年と言われる．臨床の現場で，さまざまな形で再生医療が始まり，その検証を受けようとしている．角膜上皮細胞シートの移植、骨髄単核球細胞・末梢血単核球・CD34陽性細胞の虚血下肢への移植，培養細胞を用いた皮膚表皮への移植は医療において確固たる地位を獲得し，透明性・公開性をもって始められ，社会に暖かく迎えられた．現在では、眼科、整形外科，歯科口腔外科，心臓外科・循環器科，形成外科をはじめとした領域における再生医療が注目をあびている．平成18年9月1日に「ヒト幹細胞を用いる臨床研究に関する指針」が施行されており、本指針の対象としている細胞は造血系細胞，神経系細胞，骨髄間質細胞，脂肪組織由来細胞，角膜細胞，皮膚細胞，毛包細胞，腸管細胞，肝細胞，骨格筋細胞，血管前駆細胞，臍帯血細胞と多岐にわたっている．また、米国においてはヒト胚性幹（ES）細胞の臨床応用研究の治験申請がなされている．また，人工多能性幹細胞であるiPS細胞が本邦において発見され（発明されたと言うべきか），科学的な重要性と同時に医学面への貢献が期待され，幹細胞への期待が大きくなっている．しかしながら，全ての新しい医療は病理学的基盤のうえに成り立つことを忘れてはならず，病理学的アプローチの重要性を認識することは必要不可欠である．再生医療に関しても全く同様であり、「夢の医療」から「現実の医療」としてスタートしているものの、病理学的に検証されることを通して真の医療として社会に認められる。本特集では、基礎、臨床、行政の立場から再生医療の最先端情報を平易に執筆していただいた。病理学者が個々の再生医療を施された症例に対して向き合う際に、本号を通して読むことにより広い観点から再生医療の将来性を理解して ... 2008年10月14日再生回数 1966 |
 | Endometrium-derived mesenchymal stem cells---Dr Miyoshi and Ms Hida did this--- Dr Miyoshi and Ms Hida found new human mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) source, having a higher cardiomyogenic potential than marrow-derived MSCs. Endometrium-derived stem cells with the prolonged life span by infecting them with retrovirus encoding HPV16 E6/E7 and hTERT showed the cardiomyocyte-specific pacemaker and plateau action potentials. Cardiac troponin-I-positive cardiomyocytes accounted for 60-90% of the endometrial cells: This cardiomyogenic rate was extremely high without altering genomic epigenetics. Human menstrual blood can be a major cell source for biopacemaker cells. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov 慶応義塾大学病院（Keio University Hospital）などの合同研究グループは、女性の月経で発生する経血が将来、心臓疾患の治療に大きな飛躍をもたらす可能性があるとの研究成果を発表した。 研究グループは、9人の女性から採取した経血を1か月ほど培養し、その中に含まれる幹細胞に似た性質を持つ｢間葉系細胞｣に注目した。 この細胞を実験用ラットの心筋細胞と共にラット体外の実験装置で培養すると、細胞の約20％が3日前後で拍動を初め、シート状の心筋細胞に変化したことが確認された。 慶応義塾大学病院の心臓病先進治療講師でこの研究グループの三好俊一郎（Shunichiro Miyoshi）氏によると、人の骨髄から採取された幹細胞を使って行った同じ実験の成功率0.2-0.3％に比べ、経血を使った場合の成功率は100倍ほどに大きく上昇したという。 心筋梗塞を起こした生きた実験用ラットの心臓にこの細胞を移植した別の実験でも、心機能の改善が見られた。 三好氏は24日にAFPの取材に応じ、血液を「自分の治療に使うシステムが近い将来できてくると思う｣と述べ ... 2009年04月20日再生回数 580 |

This is most commonly used in reference to the United States. Desegregation was long a focus of the American Civil Rights Movement, both before and after the United States Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education, particularly desegregation of the school systems and the military. Racial integration of society was a closely related goal. The African-American Civil Rights Movement (1955--1968) refers to the movements in the United States aimed at outlawing racial discrimination against African Americans and restoring voting rights in Southern states. This article covers the phase of the movement between 1954 and 1968, particularly in the South. By 1966, the emergence of the Black Power Movement, which lasted roughly from 1966 to 1975, enlarged the aims of the Civil Rights Movement to include racial dignity, economic and political self-sufficiency, and freedom from oppression by white Americans. The movement was characterized by major campaigns of civil resistance.
