	Elizabethan Express soundtrack reconstruction  A clean, newly recorded version of Clifton Parker's score to Elizabethan Express. The classic 1952 British Transport Film "Elizabethan Express" features an original musical score by the highly-regarded British film composer Clifton Parker. Unfortunately, following its original orchestral recording by Muir Mathieson, the performing manuscripts were disgarded. Luckily, composer Philip Lane has painstakingly reconstructed the score and has released it as a concert work, available on "British Light Music Premieres 4" (Dutton Epoch CDLX 7170, 2006) performed by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, conducted by Paul Murphy. This upload is an edited version of the original 20 minute-long film designed to showcase Philip Lane's newly recorded "clean" version in its original context, without the film's rhyming commentary and 'actuality' soundtrack. The first 12 minutes of the original film feature only a few musical segments, so parts of the original commentary have been added for contextualisation.
