Oliva is the father and Elzire is the mother 2)Marie died of a blood cloth in te brain. And when they returned to their family, they did not go back to the house in which they were born. They went living in a new build house. *i was sure that they spent a few weeks or months in the house before the new was built, but i will look this up. 3)The Dionne Quintuplets were taken away from their parents and became wards of the Canadian Government, by whom they were exploited and displayed in a public museum. that is what i got from the internet source i used. it still says the canadian government and i think the movies says this too. again i am sorry for the mistakes that were made and i hope that you cut me some slack, i am human. the video is a tribute to the girls, who were raised in the publics eye and kept away from normal childhood activities. 2009年01月03日再生回数 49928

	A message from Cécile Dionne (Dionne Quintuplets)  This text was written by Cécile Dionne as an introduction to their book "Family Secrets", written together with Jean-Yves Soucy. For long I have tried to make a video to this text, and though it is not as good as I wanted it to be (I apologize for that), I still uploaded it to share this message with you. I think it is quite touching. At some points you may need to pause the video to have time to read the whole text , and maybe watching it full screen will allow better viewing. Family Secrets was written in 1995, 1 year after the miniseries "Million Dollar Babies" (which you can watch here on my channel) was released telling the story of the first 9 years of their lives. On this book, they will - for the 1st time - denounce their parents and siblings for several abuses including sexual abuse. Though they always wanted to get along with their relatives, they felt as if they always were a family apart. 	Journal TV - Almanac Newsreels - Dionne Quints born, women get vote  The Dionne quintuplets (born May 28, 1934) are the first quintuplets known to survive their infancy. The sisters were born just outside Callander, Ontario, Canada near the village of Corbeil. The Dionne girls were born two months premature. After four months with their family, they were made wards of the King for the next nine years under the Dionne Quintuplets' Guardianship Act, 1935. The government and those around them began to profit by making them a significant tourist attraction in Ontario. A collection of over 200 historical newsreels.
