Download: files.extremeoverclocking.com Step 3. Download the following win98boot files. Download: files.extremeoverclocking.com Step 4. Create a new folder on your desktop and from Win98boot.zip extract the following to that new folder: COMMAND, IO.SYS and MSDOS.SYS. Step 5. Start the HP USB disk storage format tool. Select the correct USB drive under 'Device'. Step 6. Set file system to FAT32. Step 7. Name the 'Volume Lable' whatever you want the USB drive to be called. Step 8. Under Format options tick 'Quick format' & 'Create a DOS startup disk'. Step 9. Set the path for the 'using DOS system files located at' to the folder on you desktop containing the three Win98boot files. Step 10. 	Презентация MS DOS 4.01 в Москве  Russian MS-DOS 4.01 посвящается. Первая компиляция Russian MS-DOS. В конце августа 1989 года Paul Robson привез из Германии первую компиляцию Russian (build) MS-DOS 4.01. Компиляцию Russian MS-DOS сделал в Редмонде Johan Sundstrom, в то время главный инженер и идеолог локализованных версий системных продуктов Microsoft. Пол скачал файлы с сервера в США на дискету и привез ее нам. Скачал, то он скачал, но дискета была не загрузочная (Setup был еще не завершен) и он не знал, как заставить ее работать. Замечу, что Пол Робсон не был программистом, он был специалист по локализации, подготовке документации, хорошо знал Programm managing, но он был не программист. Пришлось ему показать, как в Нортон командере можно скопировать русские MS-DOS.SYS, IO.SYS и COMMAND.COM на дискету с английской версией MS-DOS, в результате чего новые файлы заместят старые и можно получить загрузочный диск с русской версией MS-DOS. Конечно, Russian MS-DOS производил поначалу большое впечатление. Весь Белый Дом СП Диалог приходил в нашу комнату, чтобы посмотреть на сообщения типа «Файл не найден» или русскую выдачу команды Dir. После этого работа пошла немного веселее. Мы уже видели, что что-то работает. Теперь мы не только редактировали ненавистные глоссарии и сообщения, тем более, что часто не зная, в каком месте это сообщения проявятся. Теперь это можно было проверять.
