	Mi-24 "Hind"  The Mi-24 is a Russian, multipurpose attack helicopter. The largest operator of the Mi-24 is Russia with more than 360 in service. Russia operates the Mi-24PN, which uses modern avionics including a FLIR camera and fixed landing gears. The Mi-24PN is armed with a plethora of weaponry including upto 4x lethal 9M120 Ataka-V anti-tank guided missile, upto 4x FAB-250/500 (free fall bombs), upto 4x ZAB-500 (thermobaric bomb), and upto 4x UB-32 multi-launch rocket pods (All but the Ataka-V, depending on mission loadout), and a 4-barrel Yak-B gattling gun, mounted in a VSPU-24 pod under the nose of the Mi-24 The Mi-24 also has the capacity to carry 8 fully loaded troops, or can be used for medivac with 4x stretchers. Mi-24 has a max. speed of 208mph, and has a range of nearly 280miles. It has been involved in more wars than can be named, and has seen amazing success in all climates and situations, during the infamous Soviet-Afghanistan war between 1979 and 1990, the Mi-24 saw much success in combat to the point that Mujahideen fighters nick named it "The devils chariot". The United States CIA and shadow agencies saw fit to introduce the Stinger missile into Afghanistan, possibly to test the missile, making sure it would work against Russian aircraft. The stinger missile gained success in the early part of its introduction, until Russia countered the threat with exhaust covers and ever more brutal tactics with the Mi-24's gratuitous amount of weaponry. Discovery Channel even shows raw footage of execution of Soviet POW by Talibans. Why do they show such ugly stuff in documentary where they should speak about technology behind flying vehicles? Why? Because sex and violence sells and New Discovery Channel doesn't care about anything else. - 3 years later, the USA invades in Afghanistan and starts new Afghan War, the War on Terror. They fight their old friends mujahedeens, who now is called Talibans terrorists.
