	Let's play Vampire TM Bloodlines (Nosferatu) 01  So, this is my Let's Play of Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, as a Nosferatu. I've never done a Let's Play before so the quality of my talking is not the best. I'm from sweden so my english might sound a little funny. :P Codec used: Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2 and I used FRAPS to record. Most parts are 7-8 minutes long because FRAPS only records 4 GB before starting a new file, so I just compressed them like that instead of clipping them together and crap in VirtualDub. The Unofficial Patch 6.0 was used and I recommend it to everybody. Fixes a lot of stuff and also adds/changes things for the better (if you install the PLUS package, without PLUS it just fixes bugs and small errors). I did this for fun and I was actually going to play the game again so why not do a LP while I'm at it? I've started playing the game YET AGAIN, to test out the companion mod and focusing more on social skills rather than fighting skills. It's a lot of fun to have two slaves running after you but they are IN THE WAY WHEN I'M INDOORS. 	Google Removes H.264 From Chrome To Support VP8 & Microsoft Returns Support To Chrome Days Later.  As many of you know this is a war going on for the future of video on the Internet. HTML 5 is coming out soon and along with it is open standards for video play back with out the use of Adobe Flash. (Thank God) The question was raise what should be the default video codec for video on the web and HTML. The major players went to bat for awhile but in the end they decided to make nothing the default video Codec and just let the chips fall where they may leaving all of the major web players to duke it out. At first Microsoft was backing H.264 and Google / Firefox was pushing for Ogg Theora despite Google claiming at one point that if their site youtube were to switch to Theora it would use up "all of the bandwidth on the internet." (LOL) Google did the smartest thing they could and they bought out the rights to the WebM / VP8 video codec and released it as open source and software patent free to the world. This codec had the same compression as H.264 but unlike H.264 did not require royalties. It is extremely important that web standards are open source and software patent free. If a open source project wanted to include support for H.264 they would have to pay royalties for every copy that is downloaded and a many of you know open source software much allow all people to freely download and pass the software around as the first freedom of free software.
