	NFT Grow End of Week 1  Since the last week the ordered parts arrived, except the stuff for the Autotop. Now i´ve got a new Membran pump with 600 l/h and a big fogger (Ciatronic 3212). The fogger is the same type who you can buy in the stores but it costs only 35 € instead of 70 €. Since the parts are running, you can see it in the second part of the video, the plants started to grow like hell. To fill up the tank some of the smaller ones went over into NFT. First day the plants looked a little yellow. Now they grow and are really green. :-) The first roots are growing straight along the vlies in the tank. OK, i know that i´ve done a lot of shit in the first weeks of growing, but now it seems like that i´m on the right way. The people of Nutriculture wrote me in the mail that the plants will grow like hell. Can´t believe what i will see the next weeks. :-) The NFT Systems of Nutriculture are really good, but you´ve got to spend more money than on soil. The complete circle (Plants) should also run a little bit shorter. The video was made after spraying with destiled Water with Phytamin. That´s why the leaves are so wet and hang a little bit. 	Aquaponics - NFT setup in Texas  This is a simple video of my first aquaponics system. This is a continuous flow system that uses a bio-filter to change the ammonia (fish poo) to nitrates. I explain how I have been starting and growing Seedlings in Rockwool. The small seedling plugs slot directly into the larger rockwool blocks once they have sprouted. The purpose-made hydroponic rockwool blocks are quite expensive to buy - I only brought them this time around to make sure it works - next time I will buy a bale of rockwool from a DIY store and make my own.
