	Pulsed nd:yag laser / ssy1 revisited  I have a rather mean looking pulsed yag laser in the works, that so far still refuses to lase, so I decided to have some fun with my small but trusty ssy1 head. The high voltage generator is a voltage doubler, that is feed with 60v AC that gets doubled to about 500v DC. It's really mean, it can charge a 1800uF capacitor in under a second. The voltage doubler has enough capacitance to lase the head, but the output is only detectable on IR viewing plate, it can't burn things.
