I know i said i would be doing distro reviews of linux, but this had to be done! Although OpenSolaris is NOT linux, i still think with a large enough developer base and community, this OS would have thrived. Oracle are real idiots! First suing Google over Java patents in Android, now cancelling a very large opensource project. Watch in Fullscreen and HD....... Here is a look at open solaris,which was from sun microsystems but is now oracle,now it badly needs updating as it still runs from gnome 2.6 i think,but maybe if you register it may sort this,but am not sure.... this was from a request by the way....
