Requests from back in the PC-98 compilation. I got like 5/6 requests for Casket of Star, Marisa's PC-98 theme, but at that time I didn't have anything that groundbreaking so I didn't put anything up, but now. Don't worry everyone, I want you all to know that if you have sent a PM and I haven't answered it must be that I just forgot to respond, but do not worry, I have read every single one of the requests you have sent me, as long as they are PMs I will be able to keep track of them (as long as Youtube doesn't delete my inbox again). I will take care and try to fulfill all the requests you guys send me, even if they sometimes seem impossible. I downloaded this album on a whim, the cover art wasn't all that nice at all (way too moe-moe for me to expect anything like this, and let's face it, the cover art is very important in attracting people's attentions) and most of the album was pretty boring techno stuff, until track 10, I swear I fell off my chair when this arrange reached my ears. What can I say? 	(PC-98) 東方Touhou Unplugged/Classic 205  Titles: Sealed Sword Alice in Wonderland (from 3:20) Artist: Rei Circle: オリエンス (Oriens) Album: Ancient Treasures Original: the Grimoire of Alice & 不思議の国のアリス (Alice in Wonderland) So finally, after a lot of time I've found a Grimoire of Alice arrange that blew my shoes off and just had to share it with everyone. Rei is an artist that has developed quite a bit from his previous albums in other events, in the beginning I'll admit that his orchestral arrangements weren't all that amazing, they had some nice spinoffs here and there but over all they were "generic orchestral arrangement of X theme". But as time went on and Rei's compositions skills grew, his songs got better and better, without doubt. It's at the point that it doesn't really matter anymore if he uses synth or not, imho. Like for example the choirs, well they certainly aren't Morrigan level (I doubt anyone can beat those, so not point even trying) but they without doubt can create atmosphere and have a nice ring to them. I'm not kidding here, that Alice in Wonderland arrange is one of the most epic arranges I've heard, and not to mention Grimoire of Alice. I think it fits perfectly in the settings itself, I was thinking actually, Alice has an awful lot of themes doesn't she? Actually she's probably the character with most themes in the whole franchise, not that I'm complaining, each of them have their own hint hint of spice in them. 	Dragon Knight I PC-98 Partial English Translation  The developer didn't compress the text so it was just a matter of using a hex editor and replacing the Japanese text (encoded in Shift-JIS) with English. However, the game would crash whenever I tried to use half-width characters (2 half-width characters can fit into 1 Japanese character, which would have made for a better translation). So I had to use full-width characters, which limited the amount of characters I could use severely and I had to cut about 50% of the text out. I stopped a few scenes into the introduction 'cause I didn't think I could continue with this restraint. There are two scenes in this video. 1: Partial introduction. I know I didn't translate one of the lines shown in the video. You can find the full introduction of the remix translated on youtube. 2. Town menu and battle commands. "Hurt" is actually called "Attack Magic" in the Japanese version, but because I only had 5 or so characters of space, I Dragon Warrior'd it to "Hurt." elf didn't compress Dragon Knight II's text too, but they did compress Dragon Knight III's and Dragon Knight 4's (highly recommended!). Feels like yesterdays since I was listening to Gossun metal arrange and decided to do my own Touhou Metal channel. For those who have followed the updates from video 50 to now, they know how much Touhou means for me. It is probably the only thing I want to remember from what happened one year ago. Words aren't enough when it comes describing the Touhou music and its remixes, and that is what happens me so often. Trying to explain what I feel with it, but it comes quite impossible. In fact, describing what is Touhou can be quite complicated. For some a game is just enough, or other people try to label it as a fan-made project (I believe that is what "Doujin" means). For me, its just a part of my life, I can say it was the light at the end of a tunnel. An oasis out in the solitude and heat of the desert. A long desert I had to walk 1 year ago. For me, Touhou was that light, and it will always remain with me, remembering why I cannot even dare to abandon my thoughts, my passions, my self being, my family or friends.
