![]() | John Malkovich - 1988 Dangerous Liaisons Trailer Dangerous Liaisons is a 1988 drama film based upon Christopher Hampton's play, Les liaisons dangereuses, which in turn was a theatrical adaptation of the eighteenth-century French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. Director Stephen Frears, having enjoyed successes in British cinema with My Beautiful Laundrette (1985), Prick Up Your Ears (1987) and Sammy and Rosie Get Laid (1987), made his Hollywood début with this film.[1] The performances of Glenn Close, John Malkovich and Michelle Pfeiffer, the cinematography of Philippe Rousselot, the costume design by James Acheson, and in particular the screenplay by Christopher Hampton, garnered considerable critical acclaim. Swoosie Kurtz and Mildred Natwick (in her final film) appeared in supporting roles, as did young relatively unknown actors Keanu Reeves and Uma Thurman, both of whom would go on to achieve fame in the 1990s, with starring roles in Speed (1994) and Pulp Fiction (1994) respectively. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture and a further six Oscars, eventually winning the awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Costume Design, and Best Art Direction. 2010年10月07日再生回数 9806 |

Looking hard through the glass, Fears sure built in with every waltz. Looking out at the rain Looking in through the storm. Treading the waves, Come in from harm. How could you regret your other words ... Hoping for thrills free as a bird ... Strum me hard, strum me fast, Fears sure built into every wall. Looking hard through the glass, Fears sure built in with every waltz. There's a knock at the door, I get up let you in. Travelled and stained, Soaked to the skin. Welcome my darling, you got here at last ... Come and sit by the fire forget what's past. So sad, so sad, So sad, so sad. Strum me hard, strum me fast, Fears sure built into every wall. So sad, so sad. Dangerous Acquaintances is an 1981 album by British artist Marianne Faithfull. The work was seen by reviewers as a disappointing follow-up to Faithfull's Broken English, as the album trades the angry and controversial alternative new wave arrangements of the previous one for a more mainstream rock texture, using over a dozen session musicians and, for some ... 2010年11月05日再生回数 6202 |

![]() | Cynthia Witthoft - The Libertines' Song Cynthia Witthoft - The Libertines' Song cynthiawitthoft.blogspot.com The philosophy gained new-found adherents in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, particularly in France and Britain. Notable among these were John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester, the Marquis de Sade, and Aleister Crowley. "Libertine", like many words, is an evolving one, defined today as "a dissolute person; usually a person who is morally unrestrained". Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand wrote that Joseph Bonaparte "sought only life's pleasures and easy access to libertinism," while on the throne of Naples. In modern times, libertinism has been associated with sado-masochism, nihilism, and free love. Libertine was originally a negative term, derived by John Calvin, for opponents of his policies in Geneva, Switzerland. This group, led by Ami Perrin, argued against Calvin's "insistence that church discipline should be enforced uniformly against all members of Genevan society". Perrin and his allies were elected to the town council in 1548, and "broadened their support base in Geneva by stirring up resentment among the older inhabitants against the increasing number of religious refugees who were fleeing France in even greater numbers". By 1555, Calvinists were firmly in place on the Genevan town council, so the Libertines, led by Perrin, responded with an "attempted coup against the government and called for the massacre of the French ... This was the last great political challenge Calvin had to face in Geneva ... 2008年02月23日再生回数 6746 |
