I cannot advise the taking apart of the book for selling of the plates, but the plates do seem to be the value of the book, now that some are missing. I have not found any exact like for like, apart from your own items, but Vonsiebold items seem to hold a premium, one 6 volume set valued at £150000, but we have to work with exact values rather than this being a possible wishful "I have one, you do not" valuations. But having said that you do seem in that position also, and are in the driving seat, and my figures here should not be used to decrease the estimate you have for individual plates. On the basis of my novice research into plates, yes they get sold individually, but often it is difficult to state how many and from which date the print is. Some prints of famous items are later reprints for example.
