Jonathan headed the usability and accessibility team at the BBC and led many inclusive design initiatives such as the innovative MyDisplay customising tool to allow site users to easily customise the BBC site according to their requirements or disability. Jonathan also led the team to create the Web Accessibility Code of Practice BS8878, the comprehensive guide to how to manage accessibility during the creation and management of your website. BS8878 fills an important need to provide solid best practice for managing the accessibility programme based on experience and input from leaders in the field. The biggest change was the inclusion of mesh proxies (wheels and track plates modeled in Wings3D) an improved surface friction mechanism, and the ability to specify the drivetrain properties via a loaded XML (no more hardcoded stuff). This demo shows a simple drivetrain with simulated mass climbing obstacles and making turns. It's 'playable' but the friction coefficients need work! This particular drivetrain was (loosely) modeled after that of a classic Czech LT-38: en.wikipedia.org This is OLD, CRAPPY CODE. I've been too busy over the last 6 months to work on it! 	OPENGEO FOR EDUCATORS- SETTING A PLACE AT THE TABLE FOR OPEN SOURCE GIS  Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are a logical inclusion in the ICT domain because they are the result of a practical implementation of information and communications technologies. The Global Positioning System (GPS) uses radio signals, atomic clocks and satellites to pinpoint location; databases and wireless technologies to process, store and transfer data. GIS uses geometry, XML and web servers to analyze and share geo-data. In so doing, we can ask spatial questions about almost anything in the macroscopic world. GIS is relevant across disciplines and should be implemented into curriculum as a basic research tool available to any student or faculty member with a library card with the goal of someday becoming a general academic requirement. The OpenGeo Enterprise Suite provides a complete, open source toolset for storing, processing and retrieving geospatial data. In this presentation, I provide several scenarios for cross-discipline interactions using OpenGeo, highlighting the role of ICT in each.
