The idea is "Road to" a Loss (not a fan of that title for the series btw) where I play by myself, consecutive games until I hit a loss. Not sure how long this first session will be but if it's a hit, I can do multiple sessions until I take the L. It features multiple grand tourer race cars based on production road cars and conforming with the GT1 (2010-2011) and GT3 (2012-) regulations competing in one-hour races on multiple continents. Championships are awarded each season for drivers and teams. The FIA GT1 World Championship has started in 2010 as a successor to the previous FIA GT Championship which featured the GT1 category as well as a GT2 category. In 2012 the series originally planned to move away from exclusive use of GT1 cars by allowing 2009-spec GT2 from the former FIA GT Championship as well as current performance balanced GT3 specification cars to compete alongside the series' current GT1 cars. However as there were no interested GT2 teams and only a handful of former GT1 runners were willing to participate, the SRO decided that the 2012 season would be contested with GT3-spec cars only (yet retaining GT1 in the series' title). All vehices will be performance balanced with weight and restrictor adjustments to make different makes artificially more equal.  | Travis Orbin - First Pete Peterson Session - "Bugz" www.facebook.com Song info - mooktank.com Pete Peterson is one of my very favorite up-and-coming artists. A mechanical engineer by day and incredible composer by night, the guy is nigh too clever for his own good. He seamlessly blends multiple genres with his own unique take on prog/metal and does quite a darn tootin' good job. "Bugz" earns the 'pleasurable distinction' of being the most difficult tune (overall) that I've tracked to date. I rung in the New Year by slaying this beast. The intro sounds sporadic and random but a gander at the transcription will prove that all of those notes have purpose. At 3:23 there's a tempo change; it drops to 95 BPM and increases 'linearly' -- back to 116 BPM -- until the end, meaning that the tempo is constantly increasing in 'real time'. I'd never even heard of this prior to tracking the tune but was able to do it... somehow, haha. It's important to note that a mere five days prior to this two-song session, for the first time in my drumming career I 'maxed' out the spring tension on my double pedal. Admittedly, not the most brilliant move, but I grew weary of never progressing and it was obvious to me that I put in the work. Thus, I figured to try something new. Moreover, it seems that many of today's 'speed titans' are rocking the higher tension(s). At the time of writing this video description, I've already far surpassed my previous 'speed records' and my DB playing is slowly becoming more precise and powerful. As soon as Yelawolf walked in the session he was focused on business and was ready to hear some dope tracks.
